The Body Shop : Vitamin C Facial Cleanser Polish

I came across “Vitamin C Facial Cleanser Polish” by “ The Body Shop” and I must say it lives up to the promises it makes. The Vitamin C Facial Cleanser Polish is for dull, tired complexion and promises to restore glow and skin’s natural radiance after use
It contains Amazonian camu camu berry and Community Fair Trade ingredients.  Whether it is the effects of a hot summer day, sweat, dust and pollution, the use of this cleanser and polish makes my skin feel rejuvenated and very refreshed.
I use it once a day because too much scrubbing is also not good for the skin oil balance

APPLICATION
Wet the face and neck with clean water. Massage over the face and neck using light circular motions. Rinse off with clean water and pat skin dry.

It does leave a fresh feeling on my face after washing. but i think the microbeads is a bit harsh for everyday use, and somehow it makes me break out sometimes with a small acne on my forehead
So I switch to The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream Exfoliate

That's all for now

THE BODY SHOP : Drops of Youth™ Eye Concentrate

I must say The Body Shop's Drops of Youth Concentrate for a youth-enhancing boost Edelweiss plant stem cells possess renowned skin renewal properties Enriched with Community Fair Trade ingredients
Drops of youth is gel like serum that can be used morning and evening before your eye cream.
It is not eye cream replacement -
I doubt it would give enough moisture unless your eye area is not dry at all or it might be enough on a hot and humid summer day when you need something very lightweight.
It also makes great base underneath makeup (eye concealer).
Texture is extremely lightweight and absorbs immediately.
My favorite thing is applicator -
It is great beauty innovation to have both pump and roll on. With one press on the pump enough product comes out to be used on both eyes. Roll on feels very cooling - LOVED this ! And soothing to the eye area.
APPLICATION :
It is supposed to be massaged in a figure of 8 circular motion and then patted lightly with fingers for complete absorption into the skin.
Right after the application you can see that skin feels tighter, smoother to the touch and very soft.
It's like a instant eye lift in a bottle.
I loved how it would fill in my fine lines around eyes and help my concealer set less into them.
Cooling effect of roll-on helps with puffiness (great if you suffer from allergies and your eyes get puffy).
Drops of youth eye concentrate has no color but has tiny iridescent particles (not shimmer) that when blended in illuminates eye area.
Overall great addition to my eye regimen and will be using this in the morning especially on a days when I wear full eye makeup

We are totally digging the new trend of getting creative with our nails. Gone are the days where one would merely olor their nails with a single bold color. Its time to get experimenting !!

Tips On How To Apply Eyeliner

Tips On How To Apply Eyeliner

I don’t know if you will be using your eyeliner a lot this summer but, hey, a few tips on how to apply eyeliner properly could always come handy. Am I right? I’m sure you’ve read and seen plenty of other, very informative tutorials on how smudge and draw precise lines so I’ll skip that and focus on different eye shapes and colors and ways to fix those small imperfections typical for each one of them. So, if you’ve ever wondered how to make small eyes appear bigger or fix droopy eyes, take a look at these 7 tips on how to apply eyeliner and everything will seem much easier:

1. LINING SMALL EYES

If your eyes are relatively small, you might feel like eyeliner is your worst enemy which is totally untrue, by the way I, myself, have small eyes. So, here’s what I do to get big, kitty cat-like eyes. First of all, the thing you are supposed to DO is use the eyeliner to bring more definition to your eyes, the DON’T part would be the one where you apply it all over your upper and lower lash line. So, what’s you’ll do is start from the center of your upper lash line and work your way outwards, not inwards. The inner part of your eye as well as the lower lash line and lid should be neutral so limit the use of eyeliner to the area described above. Use your blending brush or just a bit more eyeliner to make sure that “starting point” looks natural and if you like the kitty cat look, you can always add a Dita- like wing.

2. LINING DROOPY EYES

Want more tips on how to apply eyeliner? Well, this one is for girls with droopy eyes and, believe me, it really works. When lining droopy eyes the trick is to know when is a good time to stop following your natural lash line. So, take your eyeliner brush, start from the center of your upper lash line and go up, not along your lashes. Repeat the stroke to cover the inner part of your eyelid and voila! It sounds strange and you might feel like you’ll look odd but don’t worry – the eye shadow will cover it up so apply some concealer and light shadow on the droopy corner and start shading like it was never there!!

3.  LINING BIG EYES

Okay, girlfriend, you have big eyes and you’re here reading tips on how to apply eyeliner? What’s up with that! LOL! But, seriously now, big eyes are the best canvas you can ever have!!
The tip I can give you is to avoid the usual “panda” look I’ve seen on many big eyed girls. Yes, you are allowed to experiment and line both lower and upper lash lines but, please, try to achieve oval or cat-like shapes instead of the weird panda circles.

4. LINING WIDE EYES

Wide set eyes are one of the hardest ones to “fix” but that still doesn’t mean you have to give up eyeliner or makeup. Furthermore, since wide set eyes require you to pay attention to shading and lining the inner corners of your eyes, I’d say it’s a great shape to experiment on different types of smoky, sexy, bedroom eyes. Line the inner corners to make the eyes pop and appear closer but remember to smudge the lines as the sharp ones might draw more attention the little problem you are trying to fix.

5. LINING CLOSE SET EYES

For close set eyes you literally have to read the point #4 and do everything opposite. So, instead of shading inner corners, add color and definition to the outer ones. Focus on the pin –up winged style as it will make the eyes appear longer or try smoky eye styles that involve shading and “smoking out” only the outer half of the eyelid.

6. COMPLEMENTING COLORS

If you want to make your beautiful green eyes pop, try lining them with black, purple and dark gray. Gold, brown and plum tones will soften them up a bit, while blue and lavender help to make them look a bit bluish. Brown eyes look good with just anything so the only thing you’ll have to decide is how exotic you want to go. I absolutely love gold tones, standard jet black and plum but you can also try dark blue, brown and metallic shades like bronze and silver. Now, ladies with blue eyes should stay away from light blues and greens and choose either darker color such as navy, chocolate or forest green or totally light taupe or camel shades.

7. LIQUID VS PENCIL LINERS

The last one of my tips for applying eyeliner would be to never underestimate the power of either one of these types of eyeliners. Liquid or cake formulas are a bit hard to work with but they don’t smudge easily and will help you create a precise, flawless line. Pencils, in the other hand, are necessary if you want a perfect sexy, smoky eye effect. I use them both and I’d advise you to do the same because only then you will be able to have flawless eyes in every occasion. Liquid liner and pencil can be combined too, so if you want to really make your eyes to say MEOW line the upper lid and apply pencil on the outer corner of the lower lid.
Do you use eyeliner, ladies? Well, if you do, I really hope you found these tips on how to apply eyeliner helpful. Feel free to comment and share your makeup tips and tricks.
